This review is for AW collision of Long Beach. Back in February I had a fender bender where I rear-ended another car which caused significant damage to my Audi Q3. After meeting with the Geico claims adjuster I was given Carte Blanche to pick any auto body shop to repair my vehicle. The options for shops were plenty. I decided to choose AW Collision because they were an unbiased body shop with no connection to The Circle Audi dealership. The damage was extensive and also required my car to be re-painted. A few month ago, I noticed that my tailgate was not operating correctly and took it to Circle Audi body shop because I was told by Circle Audi that it was caused by my accident. I had never had a rear impact accident in my vehicle. I didn’t feel comfortable with the Audi body shop because they were talking negatively about AW Collision. I reached out to Vince Castillo and asked if I could bring my car in for another inspection. When I took my vehicle back, Vince Castillo noticed that the front of my vehicle needed further polishing and would also have the claims adjuster come back out to re-evaluate. This is why I chose AW Collision because of their warranty on all work done. The Geico adjuster came out to AW Collision and re-inspected my vehicle and confirmed that It was an Audi manufacturers defect. Vince spoke with me after the adjuster made the decision that it would not be covered under the original accident and gave me pricing on having the tailgate repaired as Audi was denying that it was a manufacturers defect. Vince also showed me photos where the tail latch was in fact a manufacturers defect since there was no cracks in the paint and the screws were not threaded. Vince worked with me to ensure the price was affordable for the repair since it was not going through my insurance, and showed proof that it was in fact an Audi manufacturers defect and Audi would not take responsibility. I now have a working tailgate, and a re-polished front quarter panel. This reaffirms my decision on why I chose AW Collision for my repair because of their honesty, integrity and their warranty. I highly recommend taking your vehicle should you ever be in an accident to AW Collision of Long Beach. I am a very satisfied customer!!
